Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of IntelliSpot, a private fishing intelligence service operated by AOJO. By signing in you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Private access

IntelliSpot is available by invitation only. Your account is personal; don't share sign-in codes. The administrator may create Teams, change your Team access or remove accounts at any time.

2. What IntelliSpot is — and isn't

IntelliSpot combines public tide, weather, water and news data with fishing knowledge to estimate where and how fish may be feeding. Scores, spots, positions and recommendations are estimates for planning only. Fish don't read forecasts, data can be late or wrong, and conditions change quickly.

Not for navigation. Maps, chart overlays, coordinates and routes are not a substitute for official NOAA charts, a working GPS, local knowledge and good seamanship.
Your safety is your responsibility. Check official National Weather Service forecasts and advisories, wear a life jacket, file a float plan, and don't go out in unsafe conditions. IntelliSpot caps scores in dangerous wind, but you decide whether to go.
Follow the law. You are responsible for having a valid Texas fishing license and saltwater endorsement and for following current Texas Parks and Wildlife Department size, bag, possession, closure and area rules. Regulation summaries in IntelliSpot may be out of date; TPWD's official rules control.
Respect private property, closed areas, wildlife and seagrass. Don't prop-scar grass flats.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the catches, notes and spots you add. You give AOJO permission to store and display them to you and to the Teams you share them with, and to use them in aggregate to improve IntelliSpot's scoring. Don't post anything unlawful or that you don't have the right to share.

4. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to break or bypass security, scrape or resell the service or its data, interfere with other users, or use IntelliSpot for anything illegal.

5. Text messages

If you opt in to text messages, the SMS Terms apply. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel and HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Third-party data

IntelliSpot shows data from NOAA, the National Weather Service, Open-Meteo, Google News, Texas Parks and Wildlife, Esri and others. Each item shows its source. Those providers' own terms apply to their data, and they are not responsible for IntelliSpot.

7. Intellectual property

IntelliSpot, its logo, design, software and scoring methods belong to AOJO. You may use the service for your personal fishing and your Team's planning.

8. Disclaimers

IntelliSpot is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that you will catch fish or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, AOJO will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of property, injury or loss arising from boating, wading or fishing decisions made using IntelliSpot. AOJO's total liability for any claim is limited to $100.

10. Changes and termination

We may change or discontinue features, or update these Terms; we'll update the effective date and tell you about significant changes. You may stop using IntelliSpot at any time; we may suspend accounts that break these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
